Ulrik Linnemann has confirmed his return to the RallyX championship in 2025 after a thrilling run in the final stages of last season’s championship, with one win and three podiums in the four races he took part in.

Indeed, the Danish driver has committed to competing in Montalegre, Valkenswaard, Nysum and Buxtehude, positioning himself as a strong contender for the RallyX “South” championship title.

“I have a limited budget and I am also heavily involved in ensuring that my customers’ cars perform at their best for the 2025 season,” points out Ulrik Linnemann.

“At the moment, I have to admit that the first two rounds at Montalegre and Valkenswaard fit perfectly into our schedule, as they take place just before the start of the Danish championship, where we will be very active again this year”

A major change for Ulrik Linnemann this season is that he will not be driving the VW Polo in which he excelled last year.

For this “southern” campaign, the driver with 11 international victories and 32 podium finishes has opted to return to the Ford Fiesta, a car that has already brought him success between 2020 and early 2023.

“Choosing the Ford Fiesta was a logical decision,” says Ulrik.

“We have made several improvements to the Fiesta, so I believe it will be at least as competitive as the VW Polo. Frankly, I’m optimistic that we’ve made the right decision. At the moment I’m not setting any specific goals because I don’t know who my rivals will be. I just hope that we have what it takes to fight for victory.”

While the idea of competing for the triple crown (Euro League, South and North titles) is certainly tempting, the Danish driver prefers to take the 2025 season one step at a time.

“Of course I’d like to compete for the triple crown, but at this stage it’s too early to say whether that will be possible. One thing is for sure: I will be present at every event as team manager to support my drivers Sigurd [Stubberup Frederichsen] and Mads [Larsen] in their development.”

“Our team, Linnemann Promotion, continues to grow as we strive to reach new heights, and that’s where I want to focus my energy – to ensure that we achieve the best possible results as a team.”
