Eurocircuit, Valkenswaard, Netherlands

Track Information

Established in 1971 by the Dutch Rallycross Association (NRV), the Valkenswaard circuit has the distinction of being the world’s first track designed specifically for rallycross events.

While Valkenswaard hosted the Dutch round of the FIA European Championship until 2012, the circuit and its facilities have undergone significant upgrades since then. In addition to the introduction of a Joker lap in 2011, the dirt sections were completely rebuilt in 2022.

With a length of 1,033 metres and a surface composition of 60% tarmac and 40% gravel, Valkenswaard has been the scene of some of the most legendary battles in European rallycross history. Its low grip asphalt and long start straight make for an exhilarating first corner, aptly named ‘Per Eklund’s Corner’, which has become one of the most action-packed sections of the European Championship.
