As Kevin Daarbak enters his second season in RallyX, he will take on a full Euroleague programme alongside his older brother Tobias. The 16-year-old Danish driver is eager to confirm the potential he showed during his debut season behind the wheel of a Supercar Lites.
With no less than five Danish championship titles and four runner-up finishes in the CrossCar category, it is clear that Kevin Daarbak is far from a newcomer to the world of motorsport.
His first attempt at Supercar Lites in 2024 was enough to signal that he was quickly becoming a contender among the leading names in the discipline.
Indeed, as well as securing seventh place in the overall RallyX standings, Kevin made his mark by qualifying for four finals, with his best career result coming in fourth place at Nysum.
“Before this 2024 season I had never driven a real race car,” recalls Kevin.
“Everything I had driven since I started motorsport at the age of five was limited to cross cars. Needless to say, this first season in Supercar Lites has been an incredibly valuable learning experience. To be honest, apart from finishing seventh in the standings, I have to say I loved every moment behind the wheel of this car.”

After a 2024 campaign spent in the shadow of his brother Tobias – who finished fourth overall with six podiums and ten finals appearances – Kevin Daarbak is determined to take another step forward in his development.
“Although the pure results didn’t always reflect it last season, I really managed to improve my pure speed as the races went on. The more events we did, the more comfortable I felt in the car. When everything was falling into place, I knew I could compete with the best. Most importantly, with the support of my team, I learned from my mistakes.”
“However, my approach to competition won’t change this year. I want to take each race one at a time and always give my best. I’ve spent a lot of time reviewing my onboard footage from last season. Suffice it to say, I know exactly where I need to improve.”
This year, Kevin Daarbak will rely on the 13 races on his schedule to show his true potential behind the wheel of the Supercar Lites.
“RallyX is an exciting series. The level of competition is extremely high and when the Euro League calendar was announced we immediately knew it was the right way to go. It will allow us to discover new tracks and I hope that this season will be productive for me and my brother. It has always been my dream to race in Europe. I had an incredible rookie season last year and I hope the experience I gained in 2024 will serve me well this time around. Either way, my goal is to stand on the podium in Supercar Lites.”
