A kart specialist before establishing himself as a standout in the Supercar Lites category of rallycross, Casper Jansson has confirmed his participation in a full season programme in the RallyX Euro League, where he will be behind the wheel of the brand new FC2.
At just 19 years of age, Casper already has an impressive track record. A three-time Nitrocross champion, the young Swede has amassed no less than 18 career wins in North America, cementing as well his status as one of the dominant forces in RallyX.
After finishing third in the RallyX championship last season, Jansson will now compete at the highest level in the FC2 – a car he had the opportunity to test during the first two rounds of the 2024 Nitrocross season.
“I had a great 2024 season in RallyX, even though the final result didn’t quite meet my expectations,” admitted Casper.
“We made significant progress in terms of pure speed, but in the end I think our starts cost us the championship. Nevertheless, I feel I’ve reached the end of my journey in Supercar Lites. We’ve shown what we can do in both RallyX and Nitrocross.”

Still supported by the Olsbergs-MSE team, Casper is eager to regain the momentum he built up in Nitrocross with the FC2, where he took three podiums in four races.
“The four Nitrocross races I raced on the FC2 last year were a turning point in my career. They allowed us to get to grips with the car and understand how to unlock its full potential. From my point of view we have everything we need to have a successful season in RallyX. The only thing we need to get back on our side is a bit of luck – something that hasn’t always been in our favour.”
Full of confidence, Casper is looking forward to kicking off the 2025 RallyX season at the legendary Montalegre circuit.
“I feel great about this new season. And what better way to start than in Portugal, on a track that has become an iconic venue in the rallycross world over the years? On a technical level, we found some key set-up adjustments in Salt Lake City last year that could prove extremely useful on this track.”
“Nitrocross has also helped me to build up a strong race pace, competing in high intensity events at a world class level, where we saw a huge amount of overtaking. Now I’m expecting a very special season with this new car and a fresh line-up of top riders joining the series. Add to that all the new tracks we’ll be discovering, and there’s no doubt that the 2025 season is shaping up to be an exciting one.”
