The RallyX offseason is officially over, and racing begins this weekend at Circuito Internacional de Montalegre. Dozens of competitors across classes ranging from the premier Open 4WD and FC2 division to the entry-level Crosscar and Crosscar Junior fields will be taking on two full days of racing on Saturday and Sunday, with plenty of exciting opportunities to see the cars and stars up close beforehand as well.
On Thursday, gates to the track will be open for free spectating of the open test and media day. The next day, some of the top names in the series will bring their cars to the people of Montalegre with a parade through the city on Friday afternoon. Select cars from all of the classes competing during the weekend will take part in the parade, as will the 1,080-horsepower electric FC1-X car that will be giving VIP rides between qualifying and race sessions.
