Following his debut campaign in RallyX during the 2023 season, Jonatan Hoffman will return to competition with a full programme in the Euro League series.

After narrowly missing out on a place in the final of Tierp 2 in 2023 – where he finished a commendable seventh – the Swede will be back in action next weekend at the Montalegre circuit, driving his Speedcar Wonder chassis.

“I decided to return to RallyX mainly for the challenge and to continue to build up my experience,” explains Hoffman.

“We are fortunate to have a calendar that brings together some of the best tracks and promises not only great racing but also fierce competition.”

Still relatively new to the CrossCar category, Jonatan is determined to continue his upward trajectory.

“My CrossCar journey started in 2020. Since then, I’ve focused on honing my driving skills and optimising the performance of my Speedcar Wonder, aiming to improve both my pure speed and consistency. This work has paid off with a CrossCar Cup title in Sweden in 2023. One of my biggest strengths is my efficiency on the starts – I usually have very quick reaction times when the lights go green, which is a clear advantage in rallycross.”

This season, Jonatan will team up with Alex Lindeqvist, who has made no secret of his ambitions after finishing third in the Swedish championship last year.

“We will be racing under the Hoffman Motorsport banner. The aim is to fight for the top positions and support each other to achieve the best possible results,” says Jonatan.

“For me, the priority is to be consistent and show my speed when it counts.”

One thing is for sure: this RallyX Euro League programme means much more to Jonatan than just another racing season.

“Having the opportunity to take part in a full RallyX Euro League campaign is a dream come true. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge. You can count on me to give everything I’ve got on and off the track.”
