After making his debut in the RallyX championship last season, two-time French Rallycross Super1600 champion Julien Meunier is set to return in 2025 to compete in the full RallyX Euro League under the Team OMSE banner.
As he prepares for his third full season in motorsport, Meunier—who reached the pinnacle of the French Rallycross Championship in 2023 and 2024— will continue his development behind the wheel of a Supercar Lites.
Finishing fifth overall in last season’s Supercar Lites championship with five podium finishes, the 18-year-old Frenchman will undoubtedly be one of the key contenders to watch in 2025.
Having posted two fastest times in qualifying heats last season, Meunier also recorded 19 top 5 finishes and six fastest race laps throughout the year.
“I am entering my second full season in RallyX. Team OMSE wanted me to continue in the championship and I also wanted to commit to another year in Supercar Lites,” says Julien Meunier.
“At the end of last season, I knew I hadn’t reached my full potential in terms of driving this car, so I’m delighted to confirm my participation in the entire 2025 championship.”

Having previously competed in front-wheel drive cars, Meunier admits that the transition to Supercar Lites took him out of his comfort zone.
“I definitely needed an adjustment period last season to fully understand how to get the most out of the Supercar Lites, but as the year went on I felt things were coming together. At Estering towards the end of the season, I wasn’t far away from taking my first win at this level and I have to admit that left me hungry for more.”
With last year’s experience under his belt, Meunier is approaching 2025 with even more determination.
“Let’s just say I still have a lot to prove. One thing is for sure – I feel at home in this car and I really enjoy competing in this championship. The atmosphere in the paddock is really unique. We have been welcomed with open arms and RallyX is a championship that stands out for its exceptional organisation.”
Beyond the competition itself, Julien Meunier particularly appreciates the level playing field that characterises Supercar Lites, where all drivers have access to identical machines.
“It is a category that I really enjoy. Everyone has the same car, we all start on the same level and in the end it’s the driver’s skill that makes the difference”
With valuable experience, a clear ambition to progress and a strong team behind him, Julien Meunier now has everything he needs to take a big step forward in 2025.
