After an impressive 2024 season in which the young Swedish driver won the CrossCar RallyX title, Elias Svensson has decided to take his career to the next level.
In 2025, Svensson will compete behind the wheel of the all-new FC2, marking a significant step forward in his motorsport journey.
Starting with the Montalegre round at the end of March, Svensson will make his debut in the 4WD category and showcase his skills in a car designed to push the boundaries of performance.
A test session at Strängnäs last November was enough to convince the outgoing RallyX champion that the FC2 was the perfect choice for his continued development towards the pinnacle of rallycross.
“I had already driven a Supercar Lites in the Nitrocross series at the beginning of last year, but the FC2 is much more suited to my natural abilities,” explains Svensson.

“It has more power, more speed and the suspension is more advanced than what you find in a Supercar Lites. In terms of driving feel, it’s actually quite similar to what you get in a CrossCar or even a traditional Supercar.”
“From my perspective, the FC2 class is ideal for CrossCar drivers looking to take the next step in their development. Not only does it offer similar sensations, but the FC2 also offers greater media exposure, which is essential for gaining recognition.”
As the most successful driver in the history of the CrossCar category in RallyX, with eight wins and 11 podiums in just three seasons, Elias Svensson has established himself as one of the brightest talents of his generation.
In 2022, in his first season at this level of racing, Svensson finished fourth in the CrossCar championship. His upward trajectory continued with a third place in 2023, culminating in a dominant campaign that earned him the championship title in 2024.
Now, at just 20 years old, Svensson is poised to make waves in the FC2 class, a move that could further cement his place among the future stars of rallycross.
